These terms apply to all quotes and contracts issued by Swift Home Improvements Ltd (company number 03679915), 215 London Road, Stone, Greenhithe DA9 9DQ ("Swift", "we"). They do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Quotes
Written quotes are fixed for 30 days from the date of issue and are based on the survey carried out at your property. Verbal estimates are indicative only.
Orders & contract
A binding contract is formed when you sign our written order and pay the deposit. You have a 14-day cancellation right for orders agreed off-premises, unless bespoke manufacture has already commenced at your written request.
Payment terms
Payment is staged: 30% on order, 60% a few days before installation and 10% on the last day of installation. Payments may be made by card or bank transfer. We do not accept cash. Finance options are not currently offered.
Installation
We agree an install date once frames are manufactured and access is confirmed. Installations are carried out by our own employed team. Reasonable access, clear working areas and a working power supply are required.
Guarantees
- 10-year Swift workmanship guarantee on every installation.
- Any manufacturer cover on frames, sealed glass units and hardware, included inside the same 10-year Swift guarantee period.
- Insurance-Backed Guarantee provided for eligible works, so cover survives even if Swift ceases trading.
- FENSA certificate issued after installation for building-regulation compliance.
Insurance
We hold £5,000,000 Public Liability and £10,000,000 Employers' Liability cover.
Snagging & complaints
Any snagging is walked through and recorded on completion. If you're not satisfied, contact the office on 01322 221010 or sales@swiftltd.co.uk and we will respond within 3 working days.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under UK law. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the contract value.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
